Mr. Chris Freeman is a Raleigh native and has served as the Director of Extended Learning and Camp Trinity at Trinity Academy since 2011. One of his favorite parts of Camp Trinity is the outreach initiatives and mission to share the Gospel with the Raleigh community. Chris and his wife, Kaitlyn, are members of Vintage Church Midtown. They started their family with the sweetest little boy, Ford, in 2015.
A native of California and 2012 Trinity Academy of Raleigh alumna, Shelby Thomas is the Associate Director of Trinity Academy’s Extended Learning Programs. She graduated in May, 2016 from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill with a degree in Global Studies and a minor in Education. In her studies, she discovered a passion for languages, history, and creating programs to foster social and emotional development in children and youth. Shelby enjoys reading and drinking coffee, hanging out with her younger and future-UNC-grad sister.
Matthew Daniel is a NW Georgia native and attends Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he is pursuing and M.Div in Preaching & Pastoral Ministry. He began working with Camp Trinity @ ESA in February of 2017 and now serves as Site Coordinator. Matthew is also interim pastor of Ransdell Chapel Baptist Church in Louisburg. In his spare time, he enjoys watching UGA Football (Go Dawgs!), traveling, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.
Sara Billingsley recently moved from Texas. She is happy to call North Carolina her new home and excited to be serving as the Site Coordinator at the Trinity Academy campus. She graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Christian Studies this past May and is currently pursuing a Masters in Intercultural Studies at Southeastern Seminary. She has a passion for children and youth to grow into all God has intended them to be.
